"...Heroics..."
1) Would you consider yourself a part-time superhero?
You know what?- -Technically?- -Yes.- -Yes I would define myself as a superhero.- -I mean, I fight crime, I've got the whole tights thing going on for me- -and- -you know, I'd like to think I'm pretty darn good at what I do.- -But, really- -ANYONE can be a superhero. The- -the mother who drives her kids to soccer practice, the friend who sticks around through thick or thin, the- -cow- -boy- -all of them- -super kinda people- -I'd rather think of myself as an omnipotent demi-god.
2) What sparked your interest in the fight against crime?
You know, it's haunted me for years now and- -well- -never had I been so full of rage, determination and a need for vengeance as I did that very night it all began. A friend said to me, and I'll never forget these words: "Hey, you wana go fight crime?"- -Really, it's the stuff of legends.
3) What is your proudest heroic moment (please describe)?
Proudest heroic moment? Gosh, well that'd have to be my first night out fighting crime. Strapping on my utility belt, putting on the tights, equipping myself with weapons upon weapons to battle the never ending war on crime, I blended into the shadows keeping an eye out for evil for wherever it may lurk. I also said "Trick or Treat" a lot, but- -you know, keeping an eye out for evil was the main thing.
4) Do you have a costume?
You know, it's- -we don't call it a "costume" per se in our line of work. To tell you the truth we kinda find that a bit "hokey".- - The technical term is actually: "hide your facers"- -I wear "hide your facers".
5) Do you have a name for this alter-ego?
You know, an idea that ran through my mind when I first started out was:- -I wanted it to be original.- -You know, I didn't want it to be like- -"The Dark Avenger" or - -"Something Guy"- -I wanted to have a name that hadn't been used yet and would- -like- -totally scare the piss out of the villains I'd be facing. Myself and my friends sorta threw around a few names, but in the end it was my mother who came up with the name: "Faggot". - -And you know what?- -I love it.- -I really do love that name.- -It just- -it just strikes fear into the hearts of most men, and really- -that's what I was looking for.- -I was looking for the inner faggot.
